BME and its long-standing partner, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany (ITKAM), are once again inviting German buyers to a B2B matchmaking event in Italy on 22-23 October 2024 in two different regions of Northern Italy: Turin and Lake Como.

In 2023, Germany imported goods from Italy with a total volume of EUR 72.11 billion, thus maintaining the high level of the previous year, which was a record year. Germany has been Italy's number one trading partner for both imports and exports for decades. Industrial supplies (metal and plastics supply industry) account for a significant proportion of imports from Italy and are far more important than food or fashion items. The north of Italy in particular, with its regions of Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto, are the most important regions. This is why the Sourcing Days Italy will once again be held in the capital of Piedmont (Turin) and in the metal supply cluster north of Milan on Lake Como (Lombardy).

Apart from individualised supplier search and B2B meetings on-site with pre-selected suppliers, the program includes company visits and enables extensive networking with other participants. To better understand your needs and requirements, we, BME, together with event partners will organize an online information session with each interested buyer to discuss the company profile details as well as products and parts you are looking for.

Almost 130 supplier profiles are already in available on your online account. However, the supplier search has not finished yet so based on your company profile, we will look for further vendors fitting your demands.

Register/ log in to your account on the BME Matchmaking Platform, select the event on your main dashboard and evaluate the suppliers. Sourcing Days Italy, including supplier search and B2B meetings, is free of charge for all participating buying companies. 

First steps to participate in this event 

➀ Register first as buyer or supplier for BME Matchmaking Service free of charge.
➁ Fill out and send the questionnaire to BME. Mark the events you are interested in.
➂ BME will inform you as soon as you get access to the profiles, can select your preferred B2B partners and
    register for the events.

Prices for buyers

• Registration for BME Matchmaking service: free of charge
• Supplier List, which gives you access to supplier profiles for upcoming event in 2024: free of charge
• B2B Booking Costs per company and B2B table (for all meetings): free of charge

Additional services for buyers

• 1 Year Flat Rate All Supplier Lists, which gives access to supplier profiles from all upcoming events: 995€ p.a.
  Subscription expires on: 31^st of December of the current year**
• Supplier Lists of past BME matchmaking events, with all details of supplier profiles, per list: 595€
