Secure your supply chain at the source. The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Australia), on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), invites German companies to join an exclusive business delegation from 25 to 30 October 2026 to Australia — one of the world's most resource-rich and politically stable suppliers of critical raw materials, including lithium, rare earths, nickel, cobalt, and graphite.

The tour is a project-based measure under the Market Development Programme for SMEs (MEP) and aims to connect German industry representatives, mining suppliers, and financing institutions with Australian companies and projects in the critical raw materials sector.

Australia holds significant reserves of lithium, rare earths, nickel, cobalt, graphite, and other materials essential for future technologies. The country combines this resource wealth with political stability, high ESG standards, and a world-class mining industry, making it a strategically important partner for diversifying German raw material supply chains. • 250 euros (net) for participants with less than €2 million in annual turnover and fewer than 10 employees
  • 850 euros (net) for participants with less than €150 million in annual turnover and fewer than 750 employees
  • 1,500 euros (net) for participants with an annual turnover of €150 million or more or 750 employees or more

Travel, accommodation, and meals are covered individually by participants. Advisory services are certified under the EU de minimis regulation.

For all participants, individual advisory services will be certified in accordance with the EU De-minimis Regulation. Due to the limited number of participants (max. 15 companies), all applications will be reviewed for suitability and relevance to the objectives of the trip; in line with the MEP, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be given particular consideration.
