Big Buyer`s hackathon about pre-market consultation in healthcare

The EU project “Big Buyers working together” aims to deliver sound solutions for public procurement European wide. Among ten working groups (so called communities of practice), BME is in charge of running two working groups about procurement in healthcare, namely efficiency and sustainability.

Alongside other activities, there was a hackathon in Spring 2025 in Madrid where buyers could determine the most urgent needs in healthcare procurement.

Now the time has come to deliver reliable solutions for healthcare challenges.

At the Nordic Conference on Sustainable Healthcare in Malmö, Sweden, BME will bring together public buyers for healthcare and providers of solutions.

Are you providing or developing solutions for healthcare? Then the hackathon on 13^th of November in Malmö gives you the unique opportunity to present your solutions to major stakeholders of the European public procurement! It also provides you with an unbiased of picture what healthcare procurers want.

We are especially, but not only, looking for providers of solutions in the following fields:

• Overcoming language barriers between patients & staff
• Cleaning hospitals wastewater:
• Energy reliability
• Less plastic use in hospitalss
• Patient guidance
• Training & healthcare professionals
• Temporal accommodation:
• Appointment management
